Hi Guys

Very good flying weather yesterday. Nice little gentle breeze down the runway. I managed to put my spitfire into the tree next to the container. Wing Commander Hopper was on the scene too late to rescue the ill fated aircraft.

16 pilots arrived until I left at around 15h00. All round some good flying.

Please don't forget the Fun Day Next Saturday. Starting around 12h00 – please stay for some boerie and a beer afterwards.

Hi Guys

 

Yesterday started off very nice and then one heck of a storm came through. I thought the wind would calm down but it did not. I had my P38 Lightning out to fly – wind and all. See the pics. The plane is as jittery as a guilty rapist on trial. I had a good flight but managed quite a hard landing which caused some damage. Pity will fix at some stage in the future.

 24 Pilots came through the day to fly. Nice full range of different planes.

 Welcome to Sarel Labuschagne and Jan Strydom who have joined our club. I trust you will have a good time with us.

Excellent weather, just the wind that could not make up its mind as to which way it wanted the blow. This made for some interesting lands and more interesting take-offs.
