Hi Guys
Last week was a big wind weekend. Wow the aircraft were falling out of the sky – all round a tough process. My poor ME 109 also took quite a knock and the other pilots insisted I take a pic. Revenge is sweet. A good weekend for flying though as I think the members have been cooped up in the work shop too long this whole winter. I counted at least 15 pilots who came through on a bumpy day in the air. Good fun all round.
A warm welcome to Adriaan van Westhuizen. He is an old member who is graded as an instructor. He found an old aircraft which will be gracing our skies very soon. Welcome I trust you will have a great time flying with us.
BIG REMINDER : this Saturday is the big day !! festivities starts at 13h00 please make sure that you get there early. We have some really great events planned and some really great prizes. Also David Elshove has got us some great badges for attending the fun day which will also be distributed. Remember after the fun we will have a braai with a couple of cold ones to enjoy. I have confirmed with the chairman of Snoopy's and they have confirmed their attendance.
