DDRF-

Hi Pilots,

Just a point of concern!

I have noticed some distressing activity at the club over the last few visits:

1.     There are pilots who are flying with total disregard to the club rules or basic etiquette for that matter, which is both inconsiderate and dangerous.
2.     The number of non-members that arrive and fly at will these days. Why should I be a paying member fees and hold a SAMAA card, if every other Tom, Dick and Harry can come and fly Willy-Nilly? Are we a club or a public recreational facility?

Please lets address this at the AGM. We need more signage and policing of the rules it seems?

The probability of survival is inversely proportional to the angle of arrival.

Hi Guys

We had a really excellent days flying yesterday. Weather was good and the flying in top gear. I counted 28 pilots who came through to show their value. Good work guys.

Please remember that next Saturday we will be having our AGM at 14h00. Afterwards we will have something to braai and a beer or two.

Please see the e mail below from Johann who runs the DDRF blog. Really great work Johann and its interesting that we have received hits from Ukraine – (Maybe Vladimir's friends) and Slovenia. Always good.

See you all on Saturday

Kind Regards

Subject: Blog Stats and Growth of Helicopter section

Hi Guys

Just a few blog  stats in attached pics

The chopper guys  must be thrilled , they are getting a lot of attention on the blog,  and a big thanks to Schalk Burger in helping to highlite the Heli section

Other than that , we still dont have enough members from the club on the blog, and more participation with articles are also needed

And last but not least A special thanks to Shaun Hards and PCFS(who's that) for theire contributions of Pics and other loudmouth e-mails, without which this
blog would not have been possible
