Pics_Sunday_P.Carlisle_19-12-2010

Hi Guys

Quite a good days flying yesterday. Bit of a wind but nicely down the runway. I counted 12 Pilots in total coming through.

Attached is a pic of Shaun Hards and his camera mounted to the plane – cant wait to see his pics.

I have sent a couple of members e mails regarding outstanding fees for 2010. I will be updating the debtors age later this week and start calling those guys who have not either responded or who have not had a word with me at the field. Please guys please make an effort as we need the cash for next year as there are some really exciting ideas which will put DDRF on the forefront of clubs in SA.

I am currently taking this quieter time to update our records concerning proficiency. Please could everyone please reply to me and let me know your proficiency so that we can update our records accordingly.

Enjoy your festive season and please drive safely so we can see you next year.

Cheers

Peter

DDRF-Pics_P.Carlisle_28-11-2010_Sunday

Hi Guys

Sorry better late than never. Been blistering at work.

Sunday was very windy – see the wind sock – but saw 10 brave fliers give it a go.

We are having a committee meeting 7 December so if there is anything outside of what guys have mentioned to Jerry please let us know so we can discuss.

2011 is expected to be a very exiting year for the club with a more co coordinated approach to be expected. Watch this space.

See you guys Sunday.

Peter

Hi Guys

Sorry did not send the mail on Monday as I left my stiffy disk in the bakkie.

Wow what a great day that was organised by Garth. The Breakfast was first class and very well supported. Well done guys great stuff. I counted around 30 pilots who came through during the day. It was really a great day – well done lets have more of these in the future.

I tried to fly the P 38 – good looking plane but problematic with a nose dive on take off. Back to the repair shop. Some really great planes on display. Garth had some beautiful pics of George Strut's big p 51 Mustang.

We are nearing the close of the year and there are still some subs outstanding. Lukas will capture the bank and send out statements on Monday. Please take a look and if there are problems let me know so we can correct. If the amount is outstanding then please pay guys.

Great se you all on Sunday.

Peter
